1. General
WezoPlayer contains, may contain, or interoperates with third-party software, models, APIs and data sources. Those materials remain governed by their own terms. WezoPlayer's proprietary license does not override open-source rights.
2. FFmpeg
WezoPlayer may use FFmpeg for media processing. The release process is intended to use an audited LGPL-compatible configuration unless a deliberate licensing decision states otherwise. Any release that redistributes FFmpeg will include the notices and corresponding source/build information required by the actual distributed build. Project: ffmpeg.org.
3. whisper.cpp
whisper.cpp is used for local speech recognition in supported builds and is distributed under the MIT License. Exact copyright and license notices from the bundled version are included with the release. Project: github.com/ggml-org/whisper.cpp.
4. OpenAI Whisper
OpenAI Whisper code/model artifacts used by the release are accompanied by the notices applicable to the exact bundled versions. Project: github.com/openai/whisper.
5. CTranslate2
CTranslate2 is an inference engine for Transformer models distributed under the MIT License. Exact bundled notices are preserved with the release. Project: github.com/OpenNMT/CTranslate2.
6. M2M100 multilingual translation model
Supported Pro builds use an M2M100 418M multilingual translation model converted for local CTranslate2 inference. The upstream facebook/m2m100_418M model card currently identifies the model as MIT licensed. The exact revision and associated notices distributed by WezoPlayer are pinned and included with the runtime package. Model: huggingface.co/facebook/m2m100_418M.
7. SentencePiece
SentencePiece is distributed under the Apache License 2.0. Required license and notice material for the bundled version is included in the application/runtime distribution. Project: github.com/google/sentencepiece.
8. TMDB
WezoPlayer may use TMDB data and/or images to identify and present movie and television metadata. TMDB is a third-party service and is not affiliated with WezoPlayer. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Service: themoviedb.org.
9. Subtitle services
Depending on the configured release, WezoPlayer may query third-party subtitle providers such as OpenSubtitles and SubDL. Subtitle files and provider services remain subject to their own terms, licenses and copyright rules. WezoPlayer does not claim ownership of third-party subtitle files.
10. Paddle and Cloudflare
Paddle provides Merchant of Record, checkout, tax and buyer-support services for Pro purchases. Cloudflare provides website/network infrastructure. Their trademarks and services remain their own and are governed by their respective terms.
11. Distribution notices
The WezoPlayer installer and any separately provisioned AI runtime package must include a THIRD_PARTY_LICENSES.txt or equivalent notices package containing the exact license material required by the files actually shipped. Website summaries do not replace those files.
12. No endorsement
Reference to a third-party project, provider or trademark does not imply sponsorship or endorsement of WezoPlayer unless explicitly stated by that third party.
